Suggestions for using Beatrice the Biologist in the classroom:
-Read a topical post aloud in class as a springboard into a new unit
-Put comics on the projector and lead a class discussion about their meaning
-Let students who finish early browse my blog on the class computer
-Using a post or a comic as a model, ask students to write/draw something similar for a different topic
